Conservative radio talk-show hosts Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin denounced Fox News contributor Charles Krauthammer for attacking the legitimacy of Sarah Palin as a Republican politician, reports
DailyCaller.com.

Limbaugh questioned Krauthammer’s conservative credentials, citing his 1980s job as a speechwriter for Democratic presidential candidate Walter Mondale. “Krauthammer used to say things that nobody else thought,” Limbaugh said. “He did have unique takes on things. And so the perception was what you got from Krauthammer was the truth."
Levin’s counter to Krauthammer: “I’m getting sick and tired of these smears by Krauthammer against her.”
The radio hosts were fired up over an article on AmericanThinker.com that took on Krauthammer’s stance on the former Alaska governor and 2008 GOP vice-presidential candidate.
“While the nation yearns for the ‘next Reagan,’ Krauthammer seemingly yearns to seek and destroy any true blue Reaganite,” Tom Rowan wrote on the site. He then quoted from a recent Krauthammer column.
“When it comes to policy, [Palin] had two-and-a-half years to school herself and she hasn't and that's a problem . . . It's not only the lack of schooling; it's the lack of effort to school herself and the lack of insight to see that she needs it,” Krauthammer wrote.
Levin said that, “when it comes to Sarah Palin . . . very few of [Krauthammer’s] arguments are substantive,” and he challenged Krauthammer’s assertion that she is not up to date on the major issues.
“Maybe there is one or two, but off the top of my head, I can’t think of any significant issue where Palin is not a conservative and where I disagree with her,” Levin said. “Can you?”
