The Tower of Pisa Wrong Design

Surely you are very familiar with this one country icon. Leaning Tower in Pisa, Italy or what we often refer to as the tower pisa. The tower that became one of the wonders of this world become skewed as it was actually because of faulty design. The architect of the tower of Pisa, Pisa Da Bonanno made a mistake when building the tower in 1174. The mistake was that he only built the foundation as deep as three meters to prop up the tower with a height reached 56 meters.

As a result, in the middle of project implementation, the soil around the tower and the tower shifted it to be tilted, so the project had to be stopped. The construction project was resumed and completed in 1350, with three of the eight steps built in a way to change the point of gravity vertical tower that has wandered nearly 5.1 meters from its original design.

Although it has been corrected, the towers remain skewed to the present, and will increase the slope a few millimeters per year.
