I would like to express my hearty sympathy with the victims of the Tohoku Earthquake.
I think many people have been influenced in many ways by the disaster since March 11.
Tsukasa Takahashi, CEO of Youth Inc., is from Minamisanriku, Miyagi in Tohoku. His pararents were safe because they escaped to highland but their house, no, their TOWN was washed away by tsunami. Some of his friends are still missing.
Even the guy who is very close to me experienced such an unthinkable trouble. I'm in a state of numbness when I think about the fact that hundreds of thousands of people suffer like this.
We have consdiered what we can do for the situation. And we have received so many messages from foreign bands that we have released and set Japan tour for.
This is one of our answers.
We will put out a benefit compliation album on iTunes Store. All of profits will be used for benefits.
The title is "Anthing for Progress - From Our Hopeful Hands -". It was named after the opening number of Her Space Holiday's forthcoming album.
It was written long before the quake. But I feel it was connected somehow. Also, it is a very positive song. Please see the lyrics below.
The comp will feature the original version and "from our hopeful hands version" that was recorded for this comp.
Many bands on & records or friends bands will participate. The songs on this comp are all unreleased tracks.
