Well, it was just business...

Is this The Donald's business deal of a lifetime?'

Sunday S.O.S. to patriots everywhere: Donald Trump is not the saviour on the eligibility of Barack Hussein Obama. In fact for all those working so hard to prove that Obama is the biggest scam ever pulled on America, Trump looks more like Brutus. Those of us who want antiseptic sunshine on Obama’s missing credentials, including writers of this publication, now see that sunshine as Trump. They couldn’t possibly be more wrong! There is no doubt that the massive quest probing Obama’s eligibility is right to never let up on questioning the eligibility of the man who would destroy America.
Searching for truth calls for selfless sincerity, never the placing of trust in an unproven hero of the moment. There is no guarantee that at any given moment counting down to 2012 that Donald Trump won’t say his people on the ground in Hawaii have proven that Obama WAS born in Hawaii. Constitutional expert talk show radio giant Mark Levin is right on the money when he reminds us that there is nothing noble or altruistic in Trump’s sudden arrival on the front doorstep of the eligibility issue. “Chump was calling Bush EVIL and demanded his IMPEACHMENT because of the Iraq war and in the middle of that war. He said Bush lied to get us into Iraq. His comments were vile and outrageous, not unlike the America-hating leftists who sought to undermine our armed forces there. Now he wants us to believe that his criticism of Bush was because Bush’s poor record set the stage for Obama? Chump attacked Bush over Iraq because if you were a big-mouth, attention-seeking liberal, it was the thing to do. He had no altruistic or principled conservative motive for doing so at the time and expressed none.” (Mark Levin FaceBook, April 16, 2011). Love him or loathe him, Bush is yesterday’s man. So is Donald Trump, who waited two and a half years to question the eligibility of Barack Obama. But the man with no paper trail to prove who he is in the Oval Office is very much today--and everybody’s 2012 future if the Republicans fail to get their act together. Trump was back in the news yesterday because Michael Cohen, who doubles as his chief political adviser is a registered Democrat who voted for Obama in 2008. And get this gem from alphabet soup television network land: “Cohen, 44, is known around the office--and around New York--as Trump’s “pit bull”. Some have even nicknamed him “Tom”, a reference to Tom Hagen, the consigliere to Vito Corleone in the Godfather movies.

“It means that if somebody does something Mr. Trump doesn't like, I do everything in my power to resolve it to Mr. Trump’s benefit,” Cohen said in an interview with ABC News. “If you do something wrong, I’m going to come at you, grab you by the neck and I’m not going to let you go until I’m finished.” But will you do anything to find Obama’s missing records, Mr. Cohen Corleone? Birthers, who could more accurately be called “Verifiers” may see Donald Trump as the man who got eligibility back on the Google map, but he could be nothing more meaningful than an agent provocateur who stands to gain in the world of Big Business. Now we have more than Trump’s turncoat antics of October 2008, with his 11th-hour dumping of McCain for Obama, and what we now have is proof positive that the man who doubles as his chief political advisor is a fully-fledged Democrat. On the things that truly matter side of the ledger, can it really get much worse than that? Is anyone wondering what kept the raging bulls from the Trump empire back in the bullpen until now? According to ABC News, “Late last year, Cohen co-founded the "draft Trump" website, “Should Trump run?” and the site has received more than 830,000 hits.

Through all there was nary a word from Trump, his political adviser or the website about Barack Obama’s eligibility until three weeks ago. Besides the take-no-prisoners business world, Trump comes from Reality TV. but reality TV is no match for real life. It was March 23 on The View when Trump became the nation’s Patron Saint of Missing Birth Certificates. And where was Trump yesterday? Swashbuckling his way over to a Tea Party rally that he says started out at a crowd of 300 but grew to a possible “five-to-ten thousand people” Birthers beware! There’s nothing stopping Trump from waiting until the presidential campaign is well underway to make a Neil Abercrombie-like announcement that his private eyes found proof that Obama WAS born in Hawaii. Trump has already said that he will run as an Independent if the Repubs won’t nominate him. For those hanging onto their faith in Trump because he’s a bona fide businessman: The reality is that any good businessman knows who to pander to, knows where his clientele is and precisely how and when to strike the best deal. That’s also an atmosphere that unfortunately provides perks for the picking the day he drops all those who believed in him on their pointed heads when he can always write it off by saying, “Well, it was just business.”
