Scottish Aerial Symposium: Day 1

All or Nothing Aerial Dance Theatre is really pleased to host two days over the next two months all about - and for - the aerial arts in Scotland.

Day 1: Mon 6th February for those working in the aerial arts sector in Scotland

Day 2: Mon 6th March for those working in venues or for organisations receiving aerial arts activity [see separate Eventbrite listing for this date to book]

It is an exciting time for aerial here: the scene is growing, more classes are appearing, more people are learning aerial than ever before, and aerial-based theatre and dance is touring venues across the country.

The Symposium is a chance to meet, talk, exchange and ensure the continued growth of a positive, creative, inspiring aerial scene here in Scotland.

Day 1: Mon 6th February

is for anyone that works in or is involved in the aerial arts in Scotland. Talks, Sessions and Open Space Discussions will include:

• making aerial accessible to everyone

• looking after yourself as an aerial artist

• what do we want to see happen here in Scotland

Tickets are free but capacity is limited, please book in advance.

10.30am - coffee and registration
11am - 5pm - sessions
Lunch will be provided

Travel bursaries are available for journeys of 90+ miles. Please email coordinator@aerialdance.co.uk for further details.

Day 2: Mon 6th March

is designed for venues, bookers, arts officers, technicians and all those currently receiving or interested in receiving aerial.

Practical information will be shared with the purpose of demystifying aerial and providing support for those bringing rigs and aerialists into their spaces.

Lunch will be provided
