Monuments, ancient squares and delightful architecture: Rome has always been an excellent place where you could share the romantic moments in the company with your loved one. More and more couples come to romantic Rome to spend a weekend or enjoy a wedding trip.

And yet, what are the most romantic places in Rome? The answer could be simple – the whole of Rome! However, in order not to appear too abstract, we decided to offer you a list of places that, in our opinion, a loving couple should not miss in the capital of Italy.

The Colosseum and Via dei Fori Imperiali (Fori Imperiali)

For those who would like to make a romantic stroll in the heart of Rome, this is without doubt one of the points that can not be missed. We advise you to walk here in the evening with the illumination of the Colosseum and Via dei Fori Imperiali included – these are truly unforgettable sensations that you share with your beloved, surrounded by the ruins of ancient Rome.

Gianicolo at Sunset

And what about the romantic sunset on Gianicolo? One of the most picturesque panoramas of Rome, surrounded by monuments of the Italian Renaissance – this spectacle can not be missed. We advise you to take a walk on the Gianicolo by Via Garibaldi, which takes you to Trastevere, where you can find many romantic places to eat in Rome.

Zodiac (Zodiaco) and the “Route of Lovers”

One of the beautiful and romantic views of Rome – the Zodiac – is a famous romantic route with a wonderful panorama of Rome and Castelli Romani. It is located not far from Gianicolo. An ideal place where you can exchange romantic phrases, dine in a restaurant and enjoy the romance of Rome.

Night Castle of the Holy Angel (Castel Sant’Angelo)

Romantic moments in Rome? What could be better than the Castle of Sant’Angelo at night, behind which is one of the most ancient and impressive monuments of the city, to which you can reach, strolling along the bridge of Ponte Sant’Angelo, sanctified by the illumination of the castle.
If you are lucky enough to be near this magnificent place on a summer night, you can visit one of the many classical music concerts organized as part of the “Estate Romana” event.

Ponte Milvio (Ponte Milvio) and the Locks

Both at night and during the day, Ponte Milvio (Ponte Milvio Bridge) will undoubtedly be one of the most famous romantic places in Rome, which became even more famous due to the novel by Federico Moccia. It is here that thousands of teenagers kiss and swear by hanging the locks and throwing keys from them to the Tiber.

Romantic Cruise in the Tiber
For those who want to give themselves a romantic evening in Rome, we suggest a mini-cruise in the Tiber on a boat, where you can enjoy an aperitif or a candlelight dinner, while in front of you there are delightful views of the Eternal City.

Trinity dei Monti and the Spanish Steps

Piazza di Spagna and the famous staircase descending from the Church of the Trinity dei Monti to Via dei Condotti are also among the most romantic places in Rome. It is here where every day hundreds of tourists come, beloved or married, in search of a romantic cadre that will immortalize their love.

Afternoon Rest in the Park

If you want to have a couple of hours of rest in the company with your second half, we advise you to stroll through the Roman villas and parks, especially by Villa Borghese, Villa Chelimontana and Giardino degli Aranci. Here, surrounded by nature and art, you will enjoy the delightful panoramas of the city.

Rome is in itself one of the most impressive and romantic cities in the world. With its ancient streets and historical monuments, Rome can make any moment romantic. If you want to enjoy a charming romantic trip to Rome – it’s best to go for a walk in the company of a city guide and get a professional romantic photo session and few nights in one of the best romantic hotels in Rome as a gift to an unusual tour to Italy.

  1. PF should take note since they like traveling so much. Take your wives or girlfriends(or both) when you go for workshops/conferences so they can enjoy too

    • This is the problem right there!!!

Why not promote what we already have here in Zambia, or Southern Africa?

Next, Jonathan will be going to Rome with his large entourage.

Rome was not built in one day…let us start building Zambia now.

    • Nubian Princess, Rome created these romantic places, as did Paris.

And as I said, Rome was not built in a day.

We are busy advertising other countries, when we can make ours just as romantic.

How many Zambians have access to tourist attractions within the country? Let us focus on making these accessible to the average Zambian….that is my point.

    • I was in Rome in the late 90s and spent two weeks seeing the spectacular sights there is to see in Rome from the catacombs to the very summit of St. Peter’s Cathedral that gives you a breathtaking view of the city. I was to all places mentioned in the posting. But I also believe Zambia has unique natural sights to offer which are incomparable to the great architectural and civil engineering sites of the ancient and imperial Roman times that Rome has to offer today.

  2. Thank you, LT. One look at the women on that site and I’m sure I don’t ever want to date an Eastern European woman. All of them are packaged for consumption and not relationships. The world’s problems are far from finishing.

  3. Tell me how relevant this is to US.?? We have so much going on as country are you telling me you cant create news on that, busy telling writing such articles. SMH

    • The word is Zambian men are increasingly randy so this is simply a dynamic response to market forces, demand and appetite.

  4. Didn’t know East Europeans would stoop so low to scrape the bottom of the dating pool. It Must be our Mines, Gemstones, access to pan handling gold explorations! Emeralds, Diamonds……..I wonder if they advertise in Congo DR too?
