Full closure imposed on West Bank; PA on high alert
A full closure was imposed on the West Bank on Thursday night in light of Yom Kippur. The Palestinian Authority has also raised its state of alert in the territories.
The Israel Defense Forces plans to lift the closure on Saturday evening, as the Day of Atonement ends. Throughout the holiday, Palestinians will be allowed to leave the West Bank only in humanitarian cases, subject to the Civil Administration's approval. (Ynet)
