ALLENDALE, Mich. – Saving some of their best performances for the last day of the season, University of Mary triple jumper
Danylle Kurywchak and the Marauders 4x100 meter relay teams both recorded All-American performances on the last day of the 2015 NCAA Division II Women's Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
In the opening race of the day, the Mary quartet of
Tonie-Ann Pandohie,
Faith Kjelstrup,
Cassandra Jones and
Kathryn Stewart rocketed their way to sixth in the nation in the 4x100 meter relay in a season-best time of 46.15 seconds.

th entering the weekend, the Marauders posted the ninth-best time in the preliminaries to grab the final slot in the finals. Between national newcomers Pandohie and Kjelstrup and veterans Jones and Stewart, the Marauders cruised to All-American honors by beating their season-best mark by .01 seconds.
A senior from Kingston, Jamaica, Stewart earned her eight All-American honor while Jones, a sophomore from North York, Ontario, snared her fourth All-American citation. Kjelstrup, a junior from Glendive, Mont., and Pandohie, a freshman from Kingston, Jamaica, each earned their first All-American honor.
Mary's lone automatic qualifier to the national championships, Kurywchak lived up to her billing in the triple jump. Competing in the first flight, Kurywchak struck gold right way with a mark of 12.57 meters. Second at the completion of the opening flight, the junior was third after all competitors recorded their first three attempts.
The Cameron Park, Calif., native exploded for one of her best marks of the season in her fifth leap of the day when she travelled 12.81 meters to secure fourth place.
For Kurywchak, this is her first All-American honors at the outdoor championships and the second of her career overall after placing eighth in the triple jump at the 2015 NCAA indoor championships. She entered this weekend ranked fifth in the triple jump.
Stewart closed out both her career and the Marauders season in the 200 meter run with hopes of adding one more All-American honor. Despite posting a season-best mark of 23.82 seconds, the senior came in ninth in an incredibly fast field. Stewart concludes her career as one of the most decorated student-athletes in Marauders history.
The Marauders finished the NCAA championships with eight team points and stand tied for 34
th place with three events remaining (results not yet final).
