A note re accommodation
Yep, the small town of Derby (where the event is based) is pretty much sold out when it comes to beds! BUT there is a heap of FREE camping space, including:
the event VIP riverside paddock (first in best sited, 50 metres from breakfast cafe, 100 metres from coin operated showers and toilets);
the town's official free campsite (600 metres from all of the above);
the council is looking at potential camping at some sporting ovals with facilities in nearby towns.
Weldborough Pub has camping space available;
and the Winneleah Hotel is worth a shot.
