Move over, Columbus – the suburbs in Central Ohio are great places to live, too! A new study by Niche.com named several Metro Columbus communities among the 2017 Best Suburbs to Live. Columbus Business First published the highlights, and we’re sharing those with you, along with more information!
Niche.com developed its findings using data from the U.S. Census Bureau, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Centers for Disease Control and other statistical sources. Here are the rankings, which compare our Central Ohio suburbs to other locales around the country:
Dublin placed highest in Central Ohio at #4, scoring an “A+” for quality of life regarding public schools, parks, diversity, housing and ease of commute. You can learn more about Dublin through our blog post!
Bexley follows at #13, as another “A+” rated suburb, for quality schools, housing, family-friendliness and nightlife. Learn more about Bexley here!
Upper Arlington comes in at #42 as another member of the “A+” club. Upper Arlington homes include many of Central Ohio’s finest luxury properties. Learn more about Upper Arlington here!

Again, keep in mind that the scores above are part of national rankings, so a “63” is nothing to sneeze at! But like all statistically-driven summaries, these placements cover broad categories, and omit localized details that could have a bearing on what you find most important in a community.
