Mountain Faith Mission Continues To Grow And Glow!

Our churches and schools are growing by leaps and bounds. We have young people everywhere. And for this we really praise the Lord.

But from the very beginning we've had one set rule. We refuse to let any one person that has been raised in the mission to go out into the world without one or more trades or a profession. In all schools in Haiti, all students must have uniforms. Your choirs must have choir robes and your trios, quartets and singing groups think they must have their uniforms also. So uniforms for Mountain Faith Mission is a big thing and a big expense.

So what we decided to do is this: We are in the process of killing two birds with one stone. We have started a vocational school for sewing for our girls. This will give them another trade to choose from. And once they have learned the sewing trade, they have a ready market waiting for them.

Rickey Minton and David Hill furnished us with 4 brand new sewing machines. Sis Naomi Sanders (Bro Carroll's daughter) has paid the tuition and paid for the scissors and all materials needed thus far. At present we have 9 girls enrolled and more waiting.

We are presently using the largest bedroom in the guesthouse. But this must change fast. Starting next month we have team after team coming in back to back all summer long.

So by faith we have started an approximate  18 x 30 foot open-air room. We've had all the frame work donated. But we need donations totaling $2,000.00 US for a concrete floor, a metal roof and screen around the wall.

If you could see these precious young ladies you would say that this is truly a worthy project. I ask that you pray, look at the pictures. Perhaps God will permit you to have a part in raising this $2,000.00 that is needed.
