Philly Celebrates Jazz is the City of Philadelphia’s annual celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month each April that infuses Philadelphia’s neighborhoods with over 100 live jazz music, jazz-inspired block parties, jazz poetry events, jazz walking tours, and more. With over 100 programs happening throughout the city, there are dozens of opportunities for Philadelphians to celebrate our rich jazz history!
Philly Celebrates Jazz 2024 Neighborhood Jazz Series
You are invited to attend 9 free jazz programs happening this April with support from the Office of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy (OACCE). As part of Philly Celebrates Jazz OACCE provides funding to local artists and arts organizations to support free, family-friendly jazz events throughout Philadelphia’s neighborhoods. The 2024 Neighborhood Jazz Series features tributes to Latin jazz, celebrations of Philadelphia’s concrete jazz, jazz vocal performances, and more.

Televised Jazz Programming During the Month of April
Each April, Arts Access TV features jazz content during the month of April. Submit your video recordings of jazz performances or content to air on Philadelphia’s local channel 64 (GovTV), accessible online and to an estimated 40,000 cable tv subscribers in the city.
