Dawn has been a paramedic for 20 years. She has worked at Johnson County for 18 years.
Last year, she attended the NAVIGATOR Research Workshop in New Orleans, Louisiana. As a result, she has been studying the implications of using pre-alerts for medical calls and will be presenting a research poster at NAVIGATOR 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada (USA).

Rich has worked in high performance EMS systems nearly his entire adult life. He is currently a paramedic and system status controller at Richmond.
He describes participating in last year's Research Workshop as a pivotal moment in his career. He took the research lead on a study that compares EMD's selection of the Sick Person Chief Complaint Protocol with EMS on-scene findings. In April, he will be presenting his first research poster at NAVIGATOR 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada (USA) on this study.
