He was 96
Al Molinaro, who played the beloved chef on the classic TV show Happy Days, died in a Wisconsin hospital on Thursday, according to TMZ. He was 96.
Molinaro played Big Al Delvecchio, a chef at Arnold's Drive-In, The Fonz's favorite hangout. Big Al eventually became owner of the joint, remaining on the show for 10 years. He continued the Big Al role on Happy Days' spinoff, Joanie Loves Chachi.

After Happy Days, he was featured in a number of commercials and, in the '90s, appeared in Weezer's "Buddy Holly" music video.
Molinaro is survived by his wife Betty and his son Michael.
