Hey there guys! Today, I'm aiming to recreate the entire singleplayer campaign from Half-life: Opposing Force in minecraft! This project will take quite some time, especially since I'll be building it all on my own, but not to worry, we'll keep you up-to-date every step of the way. This will require mods, and the half-life texture pack by Falkok, but trust me, it'll be worth it. To see our canyon contest, click the link below:

I'm sorry to everyone who has been following this, but for now it's postponed. It's not that we don't care, or that it's dead, but that the maker of the half-life mod is having trouble updating to 1.5.2. He has assured me though, that the mod will be ready for the 1.6 release. Until then though, I will not be able to work on the map, due to the fact that if I tried, lots of the half-life blocks and items would disappear. Anyways, sorry to those of you who have been waiting, but rest assured, this map is not dead.

Can't wait. Saw this on Tripmine Studios' facebook page thing. Opposing Force was my favorite of the Half-Life games. A bit odd seeing it in Minecraft, but I wouldn't mind try this out when it's done, just for a bit of something new-ish.

Ok, two things. First, tripmine studios did a link to MY THING?! That is so AWESOME! Unfortunately though, the creator of the half-life mod was unable to update his mod to 1.5, so until another half-life mod is made, or he figures out how to update it, this map is dead. I know that nobody wants to hear this. However, if you want to help keep the map running, ask Falkok15 (the creator of the half-life mod) if you can help him with coding for 1.5.2. Otherwise, this map is dead for now. However, I do appreciate your support, and hope that you will support me in my other projects. (If you liked this, go check out my borealis adventure map. It's short, since it was my first adventure map, but still pretty well-designed and fun.)

Yea, it was linked a while ago. I was looking around for any news on OBM, and saw this, thought it was cool. I know nothing about coding, but I did make a fairly decent headcrab model, but I don't think i have it any more.. I'm not sure I made it right, or not either, i was just messing with the program thing..
It's a shame to see the project at a halt, I hope he can get that sorted out, or someone else take up the task..

Yeah, I was sad to see the mod go. He already has plenty of models though, he just can't update his coding.

Yep. I am sad to see it just die. Its just sitting there, helpless against the many people(stobor) who see it and watch it die. A revival is in the process. However, it might not get there any time soon.

Ok. Also, can you find me OpposingForce.wad? I can't seem to find it. Maybe you will have better luck. Also if you have non-HD models please send em to me(Opposing Force models such as Gonome and the variants of the Zombie so I can get the texture ok?
