An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant International Officer who is required until 3rd May 2019.

The post holder will research, initiate and development international projects for the benefit of learners and community groups in County Durham. This will involve liaising with colleagues in other countries and managing all aspects from researching funding opportunities to undertaking all practical and reporting arrangements in connection with the project.

Applicants should hold a vocational degree as well as being fluent in at least three modern European languages (inc. English plus French or German and one other) and be able to confidently work in different linguistic and cultural settings.

The postholder may be required to work in other countries at short notice and for short periods of time (up to two weeks), as well as with strategic partners in other areas of the United Kingdom.

The successful applicant for this post will be required to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.
