People Are Transforming That Racist H&M Hoodie Photo Into Stunning Works Of Art

    Major celebs including The Weeknd and G-Eazy are cutting ties with H&M and the internet is calling for a boycott after the company recently featured a tone-deaf image of a black child wearing a hoodie with the words "coolest monkey in the jungle" on its website.

    H&M has since removed the image from the website and issued an "unequivocal apology." The hoodie will also be removed from sale and recycled, according to the company's statement.

    "We appreciate the support of those who have seen that our product and promotion were not intended to cause offence but, as a global brand, we have a responsibility to be aware of and attuned to all racial and cultural sensitivities – and we have not lived up to this responsibility this time," the company said. "Racism and bias in any shape or form, conscious or unconscious, deliberate or accidental, are simply unacceptable and need to be eradicated from society. In this instance we have not been sensitive enough to this agenda."
