Tonight at the National Concert Hall in Dublin, several artists came together to honor the Pogues’ Shane MacGowan in honor of his 60th birthday. Sinéad O’Connor and Bono made surprise appearances during the concert, which also featured performances from Nick Cave, Johnny Depp, Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie, Glen Hansard, and others. MacGowan sang alongside Cave, and Bono performed with Depp. Watch footage below. It was a rare live appearance for O’Connor, who last toured behind her 2014 album I’m Not Bossy, I’m the Boss.
