Captives have signed to Cooking Vinyl Publishing Australia for their catalog to be published worldwide, as well as the distribution rights for the new record over to Inertia Records and a new booking deal with Harbour Agency.

“We at Cooking Vinyl Publishing Australia are excited about working with a real up and coming band like Captives and their management at Bear Parts Music,” says Matthew Donlevy from Cooking Vinyl.

‘It’s been great to have the relationship with Captives grow further. Seeing the band, and Roy, take some great strides in the lead up to the debut album makes it really exciting for what’s around the corner,’ Anthony ‘Gadget’ Goddard, the A&R and Product manager at Inertia added.

Captives had this to say: “We are more than ecstatic about these signings—to be in partnership with flagship companies like Cooking Vinyl, Inertia and the Harbour Agency—all feeding out of the guidance of our manager Roy, this is the best start to the new year and to the release of new music coming in March!” says vocalist Aaron Damon.

Working again with producer Tom Larkin and engineer Samuel K Sproull at Homesurgery Recordings, the band are super excited to release the new album and we can expect a single as early as next week.

For now though, check out the teaser and keep an eye on Captives, 2018 is looking to be a big one for them!
