Salem Schools To Provide Meals At No Cost To Students

Salem Schools announced that the district will provide breakfast and lunch free at all schools for the next school year.

SALEM, MA – Salem Public Schools recently announced in a Facebook post that the School Committee voted unanimously in favor of free breakfast and lunch for students.

According to the post, the vote included Saltonstall School and Witchcraft Heights Elementary in the district's free breakfast and lunch program, making the program uniform across the district.

The program will be implemented for the 2017/18 school year.
