With the UK nationwide celebration of 250 years of circus about to kick off, 2018 is a big year for circus events across the country and extra big for Let's CIrcus as we are officially 10 years old!

Our outdoor ring is adaptable for events of any size and provides comfort for audiences in unlikely settings.

CARNIVAL

We are highly involved with carnivals across the greater Teesside region during 2018 and 2019 as a provider of facilitation, community engagement, active participation, costumes and props. This grew from a successful residency at SIRF 2017, where Stockton locals received workshops and masterclasses from our national and international artists. Our focus with carnival arts is to develop engaging, interactive participants with confidence, flair and enthusiasm. Teesside communities can now expect something different when the circus tent roles up in town.

RURAL TOURING AND OUTREACH

2017 saw our fourth tented tour to Scotland - this time to the Shetland Islands and back to the Outer Hebrides. We particularly enjoy reaching remote communities and places where circus is rarely or never experienced - it has become our specialism. The international circus packages we bring to these regions include shows, infrastructure and active participation through workshops for audiences - not to mention a jolly good time!

SELECTED INFRASTRUCTURE

Let's Circus is growing! From modest beginnings in 2008 to getting our own 250-seater Big Top The Magpie in 2015, we are now proud to add an outdoor ring, two 'boutique big tops' The Pee Wees and a 7 1/2 tonne circus truck The Puffin to our entourage.

Apart from extending our storage and transportation options for event delivery, The Puffin hugely increases the impact of any outdoor stage by providing a variety of striking backdrops with specially commissioned artwork by celebrated street muralist Frank Styles.

The Pee Wees are the smallest, fully-functional circus big tops in the UK with both tents equipped with rigging and fittings for intimate circus performance. They are perfect options for promoters with limited space, as an ancillary space (such as a circus themed festival bar or VIP area) or as an accompaniment to The Magpie.

Our outdoor ring has been seen at festivals and events all over the UK, providing a comfortable, spacious and adaptable space for outdoor circus performance. Our freestanding aerial rigs can add another exciting dimension to this set up.
