Original Rockford Peach Betty Moczynski dies at 91

NEW BERLIN, Wis. (WIFR) - Betty "Moe" Moczynski has died at a New Berlin nursing home at the age of 91.
Moczynski was an outfielder and catcher for the Rockford Peaches during the first season of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League in 1943. The Milwaukee native racked up 36 hits and 13 stolen bases for the team.
Moczynski went on to become an auto parts manager and volunteer softball coach after ending her career in baseball.
