No More Dodos' Ambassador has died

It is with the greatest sadness that we have to announce
that the battle for this precious planet has lost its most consistent artistic voice.

No More Dodos' Ambassador Heathcote Williams died on 1st July 2017.

Heathcote was instrumental in the very name No More Dodos
and created a poem The Last Dodo inspired by our mission.

The Last Dodo read by Alan Cox

It was a privilege and inspiration to have his support.
His is not a voice the world could afford to lose
and we hope No More Dodos can help keep that challenging voice alive.

Heathcote's Whale Nation Performed by Roy Hutchins
In May 2014 Geoff spent a day with Heathcote in Oxford.
Most of their conversation was filmed by Geoff.
This is a short film, made up from clips from that day,
for Claire Palmer, the editor of International Times.
