Terry Glenn, Former NFL Wide Receiver And Father Of 5, Tragically Dead At 43 After His Car Horrifically Flipped Over

His fiancée survived the accident with only minor injuries.

The NFL is in mourning over the tragic death of Terry Glenn.

According to ESPN, the former wide receiver died early Monday after a single-vehicle rollover accident near Dallas. He was 43. ESPN's report adds that Glenn struck a concrete barrier and was ejected from his vehicle, passing away before 1 a.m. at the Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas. His fiancée was treated for minor injuries.

The crash is still being investigated.

Glenn played 12 seasons (1996-2007) in the NFL — six with the New England Patriots, where he caught Tom Brady's first touchdown pass, five with the Dallas Cowboys and one with the Green Bay Packers, having made the Pro Bowl in 1999. His career totals receiving stand at 8,823 yards and 44 touchdowns.

Upon hearing the devastating news about Glenn's passing, his former teammates Damien Woody and Drew Bledsoe took to their social media accounts to share their condolences and thoughts about the former wideout.
