Big Country track and field bests, a long-standing tradition with the Abilene Reporter-News has returned.

Below is a preliminary list for Big Country track, submitted by coaches during spring break. We will expand each event to the top 10 in the coming weeks as participation increases.

While this first list is obviously incomplete, I invite you to take a close look at it, keeping an eye out for spots where athletes from your favorite area school would qualify for a Top 10 spot.

If/when you spot such an occurrence, please remind your coaches to check for a weekly email from me, inviting them to submit athletes to this list.

Deadline for submissions will be noon each Saturday.
