1. Sarasota Seafood & Music Festival

Local food and local music paired with adult beverages (and no cover charge) has made the Seafood & Music Festival series a hit across the region (full story). This year's events kick off with the downtown Sarasota fest being held on Gulfstream between Cocoanut Avenue and McAnsh Square. 3. Sarasota Native American Indian Festival

Celebrate Indigenous American culture at the 11th annual Sarasota Native American Indian Festival with handmade arts and crafts, paintings, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, beadwork and leatherwork. There will also be traditional dancing, drumming, storytelling and authentic food. This festival continues to serve as a tribute to the life of Rex A.
