The Spartan Athletic Training Organization, or SPATO, is a student organization of San Jose State University. SPATO is an organization dedicated to the field of athletic training, a branch of sports medicine, and promoting it in the San Jose community and beyond. The organization's mission to raise awareness of athletic training, promote licensure of California athletic trainers to ensure student-athlete safety, and network with fellow athletic trainers within the Far West district. Your support will help SPATO members attend professional conferences, where they will learn evidence-based practices and network with competent professionals.
