Man steals more than $430 worth of deodorant from Walmart: Brooklyn Police Blotter

Shoplifting, Brookpark Road: On Jan. 26, Walmart security watched a man steal more than $430 worth of deodorant, deodorant spray and body spray from the store's shelves.

Despite the obvious fresh scent, they were unable to stop or apprehend the thief. Police are investigating.

Aggravated trespass, Outlook Drive: On Jan. 26, an Outlook Drive woman called police after her soon to be ex-husband was seen removing a surveillance video camera.

The man, who previously was advised to stay away from the home after sending threatening text messages, was arrested for menacing by stalking and aggravated trespass.

Shoplifting, Brookpark Road: On Jan. 26, Home Depot security called police after apprehending a man for stealing a $129 saw. The arriving officer arrested the Cleveland man. He was cited for shoplifting.

Drug paraphernalia, Ridge Road: On Jan. 26, police were dispatched to Ridge Road regarding an unconscious man on the ground. An arriving officer located the man, who by then was sitting upright.

Near the Cleveland man was a pipe that had burned ends. The man was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
