We hope you will join us for our six annual “The Living Breath of wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ” Indigenous Foods and Ecological Knowledge event, which will be held on May 4 and 5 at the beautiful wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ on the University of Washington campus in Seattle, Washington!

In 2018 we will be honoring our elders and youth with the theme:

“Sharing Across Generations: Honoring Indigenous Food Kinships.”

This symposium brings people together to share knowledge on topics such as traditional foods, plants and medicines; environmental and food justice; food sovereignty; health and wellness; and treaty rights. Indigenous peoples in the Northwest have maintained a sustainable way of life through a cultural, spiritual, and reciprocal relationship with their environment.
This symposium serves to foster dialogue and build collaborative networks as we, Native peoples, strive to sustain our cultural food practices and preserve our healthy relationships to the land, water, and all living things
All tickets are sold at a DISCOUNTED rate! We strive to make tickets affordable for all community members.

**UW students must register for a FREE admissions and present a valid STUDENT ID at the door. Faculty, staff, etc. must purchase their tickets. Use same link below to ORDER NOW.

This event is co-planned and managed by The Living Breath of wǝɫǝbʔaltxʷ committee members who volunteer their time to ensure this event takes place every year.  Please join us to thank and honor them for their hard work. We hope to see you then!
