She starred alongside Judith McGrath in long-running medical drama All Saints.

And in the wake of the veteran actress' passing earlier this week, Home And Away star Georgie Parker, 52, has paid tribute to her former co-star.

'She was very dry, very honest and you knew very quickly where you stood with her. She had a delightfully direct personality. That was one of the things that made her one of those people you remember,' Georgie wrote.

The star added: 'She had a prickly exterior at times, but she had the biggest heart.'

Georgie also praised Judith's acting skills and her love of her family and described her as being a highly 'memorable' type of person and noted: 'She was someone I had enormous fun with'.

Judith, best known for her roles in All Saints, A Country Practice and Prisoner, was 70 when she died, with the cause of death not yet been made public.

The actress was widely known for her role as Yvonne 'Von' Ryan in the Logie-nominated series All Saints and was the only original cast member to star in all 12 seasons.

In 2009, the Brisbane-native opened up about her longtime role on the show in an interview with TV Tonight.

'I did love the show and I loved playing the character,' she said.

'But there were times when I thought 'Move on Jude, just get on with it.' But it just seemed to roll over.

She continued: 'It's a funny thing. You're there and you think 'I've had enough now.' I thought the character had reached a certain point unless it got reinvented. And of course, they did. They kept reinventing a bit. 'I suppose we all go through that phase, but some people really act upon it.'

Fans flocked to social media to post heartfelt tributes for the late actress.
